Has anyone advertised on someone else's facebook page before and had success? I don't mean just commenting on posts etc I mean getting the admin to post your link on the posts etc.

How much could you expect to pay to advertise on a page with around 400k-600k fans?

Hello ,

I can help you in this way. Please send me your website's link. I will check it. If it is related with my page, i will offer my advertisement rate.

Thanks

Kevinv89,
I have not advertised in this way before but have done similar campaigns. The question you want to ask yourself is how much a conversion is worth to you? Think about how much getting one new customer is worth and then try and get information from the advertiser about historical conversion rates for this type of advertising. A page could have a ton of likes but there could be hidden pitfalls that make it not worth it like a large portion of the fanbase not being active, likes being fake, or the fact that they haven't done it before and you would have no idea if the fee charged is worth it because they have no data on conversion or click through rates to provide you.

Here is a good post about evaluating potential ad space,

Hope that helps you,

Shawn

Not matter about fans quantity..matter is how many people active and real..

Price of the post will depend highly upon the Page Insights. I would suggest you to ask admin to show the Page Insights first so that you can decide if page have users targeted(country) to your website.

Thanks
