    I personally concentrate on Twitter because I can quickly follow targetted users. Then every now and again I will push them to like my facebook page. Once over 5k followers of targetted (mine are laser targetted) you can run a contest for sharing/liking your facebook page, and getting their friends to do it.

    Combining them both together is much more powerful then just choosing to go with one.

    Use Twitter and Facebook both for social networking and promoting your site to get maximum benefits of the social signals.

    Certainly, each of the 2 networks has its own advantages.

    Twitter:

    · is a great platform for interaction: you can communicate with your following and reach new audiences in a very easy way.
    · can be used to inform people about everything that is happening to your business. Your existing and prospective customers can get real-life data, spread your company news (via re-tweeting), and you, in turn, can easily get your clients’ feedback.
    · is easier to use on mobile devices.

    Facebook:

    · lets you engage with your audience in a deeper way;
    · is built more on a community basis, so all share a common interest (which cannot be said about Twitter followers);
    · offers more customizability when it comes to user and company profiles – you can learn more info about users/ particular brand;
    · is more technically advanced and has more useful options and features;
    · has more people than Twitter.

    So it’s hard to give an answer to your question which is better Facebook or Twitter. Both networks may work great for business if you use them the right way.

    Twitter works better for me, and it's easy to post tweets.
