This is just great. I posted earlier on one of my pages and got a little message saying 'promote this post to get more views, likes and comments' urging me to use the new promote button. When you couple this with the fact that there are little tags under your posts now saying '(ie) 338 people reached - 4%, it's obvious now that a fan page is useless unless you want to pay for posting. Facebook will always be free? I think not.

Cue next revolution in Social Media: With Web 3.0 and Ipv6 around the corner and Facebook being crappier than ever, I think if somebody strikes now with a new social network that actually ADDS some sorta' value (G+ was just a crappy FB clone), they have a good chance of taking a good chomp of the market share.

i think the max percent you can hit is 12% of your fans before you would have to pay to get more views, i got one page that has 30k fans on it and the min i could pay was $10 and that would only get me an additional 3k views kinda crappy really since mr. zuckerburgs famous quote is "Im not in it for the money" hahahahaha maybe not at first but i think thats all it is about now

How is the percentage worked out anyway? by the amount of fans online at the time you post?

Yeah I was wondering about the whole "free and always will be" logo when I seen this. I can only see it getting worse for us in the future. *smh*
