Hi all,

Since July I have received an invitation to the new monetization pages that includes all kinds of content (photos, text, videos...).

In the last few days, I realized that the reach of my publications has fallen and much unexplained, the engagement continues there, but the reach in smaller numbers.

To worsen the situation, I noticed that in the last three days, the value of monetization fell too, publications with good engagement and similar reach that previously had incomes from $2 to $3, now it is with incomes from 0.10 to 0.40$, facebook is joking or something happened that I do not know?

Sometimes engagement looks stable but payouts decrease because of lower ad CPMs in your region or niche.

Check again if your content has any issues that violate Meta rules, I think that is the reason why your content is restricted

The content has not changed, it is the same, there are no violations on the page or profile.

I think you should check that its content is configured correctly.
Thanks for sharing, I’ll test this.

So maybe the reason comes from the algorithm changes from Meta that make your content no longer attract many audiences, you can choose to run ads to increase traffic to the page

Sometimes these adjustments stabilize after a while, so monitoring performance over the next days could help.

For example, I have publications here today with 80k reach, 700 likes, 100 comments and shares, 0.22$, before this generated close to $3 or more.

And I have a similar publication with 10k range, 100 likes, 50 comments, 0.11$.

Something's really wrong, it could also be some temporary mistake, or not... it's weird.

I also encountered a similar situation recently. Although the interaction was not too bad, the income decreased significantly, possibly due to Facebook adjusting the distribution algorithm or changing the revenue sharing policy. In addition, the decrease in CPM also often occurs when too many people participate in making money at the same time. I am trying to test the content in a different format and change the posting time to see if it improves.

I heard many people say engagement and reach have been unstable lately. Maybe that's why monetization is also dropping?

Reasons:
- monetization program change
- content distribution algorithm change
- increased competition
- paid advertising/view policy change
- advertising price reduction
- content factor
- errors, delays or unclear backend changes from FB
you can try to improve by:
- focusing on new, unique content, keeping viewers engaged quickly
- increasing early interaction
- monitoring content analytics
- optimizing posting time, attractive images, better titles
- testing multiple types of content
- reducing dependence and unstable reach sources
- contact FB support if you see obvious problems

Same reach but different revenue maybe your content is distributed to different countries so there is that difference

Yes, a lot of people noticed the same. Since the new monetization program started, reach and CPM values have been inconsistent for many.

There must have made adjustment in the monetization, probably recently updated. You should browse and confirm is there had been reduction in earnings generally

I’m new here so I’m not sure how Facebook’s payment system works. I’m a bit worried about your rapid decline in income, wondering if it’s due to algorithm changes or new policies.

Facebook is constantly tweaking its algorithm to optimize its own revenue, not the creator’s. When you see a sharp drop in your reach and earnings, it’s a sign that the type of content you’re creating is no longer favored by the platform, forcing you to adapt.

Please review the quality of your content and optimize your audience.

we can try with different accounts. after working in this field a long time, I really that the results of campaigns gained are different on each advertising account

Just to warn you that today you're back to normal and with values up to a little higher than you had before, I can't understand facebook.

I’ve noticed similar drops too. Facebook seems to be adjusting the way monetization and reach work recently.
