What is your experience with the waiting period for approval of the Facebook Monetization program? Did you have to wait a long time, if so, how long?

I'm curious to see how widely the program has been rolled out.

A friend of mine with a page with 600,000 followers was accepted the day before yesterday, and although the RPM isn't great, the revenue is definitely everything but bad. It's thousands of $ a month.

I myself have about ten pages with a total of 1 million followers (each page has at least 10,000 followers, the largest page has 134,000 followers). I didn't know you had to click the waiting list button; I've done this on every page now yesterday. Wish I've done it much, much sooner. Does anyone have any idea what the waiting time to get approved might be like here in Western Europe?

When I ask AI for this information, I'm told it could take up to three months, but there's a good chance I'll get access somewhere. Of course, I don't know if this is true; it's better to ask you guys. Subscriptions and star ratings are already available to me (perhaps this is a good sign). Oh yeah, the pages are several years old, and I post to them every day.

Waiting time varies, but many creators get approved within a few weeks to about 1–3 months after joining the waiting list. If your pages are active and already have features like Stars or Subscriptions, that’s usually a good sign.

it does not seem like there is an exact time frame anymore. pages with less number of folowers have been approved before those that have many more.
if ur pages are being used actively nd already qualify for other monetization options i guess uh should keep up with regular postings nd be patient.

It's perfectly reasonable to predict that it might take a few weeks, from one to three months, or even longer. Don't worry too much, all you need to do now is continue posting quality content daily and wait for their notification.

Usually you get approved not later than the 3 month mark. It could up to a week though or more.
