Hey man, thanks for this thread. Super helpful, I'm on massplanner and did about 75 messages over 2 days no prob. I use a LOT of syntax guys, would highly recommend that. Also read that sending links is a NO NO so I send the link as soon as they respond.

I'm about to go to 10 per hour then will try 15 per hour, reporting back soon (if I remember to come back lol)

Necroposting because it comes up in Google. Is there a concensus on this?

if you will do it on permanent basis and send messages to many people, you will get banned and you will not be able to send messages for 2 weeks or 4 weeks time depending on how much spam you will do.

Well, it still comes up in Google, so let's make an update on this matter. There’s a limit for Facebook that says it’s 150 messages sending per day. And the rules keep on changing. As for the fb messenger, in theory, there’s no limit, but, in fact, it may vary. A user may be warned about sending too many messages or sending them too quickly. The limitations also concern message forwarding which is 5 times per day.
If you use facebook not only for leisure, but also for work, you might really need automated messages like in that old post. It's difficult, but there are ways for safe automation. For example, you can use Cucomm browser extension. It allows you to send mass messages or automatically add friends. You can choose categories by area or by interest, or something else. It's convenient, as it saves much time. And you won't risk your account to get banned, because the extension simulates real person behaviour.
Anyway, it's important to regularly check the latest news on the topic. It will help you to adjust mass message sending accordingly.

Hi! The problem is that a large number of messages sent out with the same content entails a ban. Be careful from now on.

I would suggest you to send 15-20 messages at a time and take a break. The next time you send new group of messages, change the content little bit. Like few dots, commas etc just to avoid repetition. And also change the number of people you sending messages at a time. Like if you have sent messages to 17 persons next time send to 19 or 14 in a group.

I have not been banned from sending messages but I think when you send too many or the same content you will be blocked

Spam may be

FB they will ban you if you send many messages with the same content to many friends at once. They will count you as content spam.

You can still send messages to all your friends, but only for a certain amount of time. Do not post that content continuously to many people.

they want you to pay for advertising. any free way of promoting anything is going to piss them off.
