FB must've done another update to make things worse. All of a sudden when I made a typical listing on Marketplace from my old main account that's all the way back from 2007 (I'm in the U.S) which Ive never had a problem with, the listing go through its normal review...Then you get "We've detected unusual activity on your account. Before you can sell an item on Marketplace, confirm your identity to help us make sure it's really you. Confirm your Identity." " Take Action on your listing". So they then want you to upload your ID, Passport etc". I'm used to them just banning marketplaces randomly for no reason saying you " violated their policies". Only other thing I've seen last year is they would do phone number verification, which is fine. But this new I.D thing must have started the past couple months.
Even when you delete the listing and remake another one, same thing. So You can't list and sell anymore. So, I have another aged account I bought last week from a Vendor on here that I haven't listed anything on Marketplace yet. I've been using it like advised with a Anti-Detect Browser. I listed first time today on the account, and Bam! Samething wanting ID Verification in order to list items. So I paid for that account for nothing and out money. This is just ridiculous to demand Gov't ID's in order to sell. I know from researching that the majority of people do not want to send in their Private info to Meta since who knows what could happen and could get hacked and you're info is stolen or they sell your info elsewhere.
Has anyone been able to bypass this or submit something like a fake/photoshopped ID with Name/Bday matching profile or anything else that the Meta A.I accepts so you can list and sell again? I've talked 1-2 vendors on here who will make one for you, but again, If I pay, and it does not work, I'm out money again once more. It's insane how Meta makes it so hard for people who sell daily and hurt their businesses. Every profile they've screwed me on in the past has had all 5 Star Ratings & Reviews.
