So I have heard mixed things about facebook ads being too expensive and the results not being legitimate, what do you guys think the best way to utilize facebook is for getting sales and traffic on our website?

It's 100% in the targeting. If you target a demographic and audience that is super popular at the moment, you are going to pay for that traffic way more than it's worth because you're bidding against everyone else that thinks its good to target that group as well. The key to success on Facebook ads for me is to test small budgets across 100's of campaigns and then scale the winners and let the losers die out. Hope that makes sense.

Facebook is the best place for super targeted traffic. Although the more specific your targeting is the more you have to pay because of your competitors. Another effective way is to build a fan page and advertise your services through that. And fan page advertising is cheaper than website advertising and it's more effective in my opinion.

Hello Maverickmay!

I think that facebook is good way to get targeted traffic on site.
But you can get more traffic on site by creating back links on blogs. You can also use SEO tools and guest posting services for increasing traffic on site.

first of all beginning in the month of your business you should create a page and daily try to update them.

For selling product and to get traffic from Facebook, At first you must gain the trust of your audiences. Do it first. Spend some of your time and energy for making a good image on Facebook.
