Facebook LiveStream through VPS

I tried installing OBS and xsplit on my windows vps (win server 2008 R2) but they dont work.
Maybe because VPS usually has no video card?
On OBS, i get a "failed to initialize video: Unspecified error" error message.
While on xsplit, i get an "unable to create window. Please enable direct3d accelation" error.

How it will work with VPS? For recording live, you need to get camera attached with the VPS. Correct?
