After posting a link that Facebook considered clickbait yesterday, I’ve noticed my Reach has been almost cut in half with links. Has anyone else dealt with this? If anyone has experienced this after posting something to do with clickbait please let me know. I’ve tried posting links on my other pages and they have normal reach

I believe Facebook is clamping down on clickbaits. They announced that last year that they are having a News Feed update to lessen those kinds of links. Maybe that's the reason why your reach has been cut in half.

Yes. I agree, Facebook has been clamping down on clickbait. I’m just wondering how long my links will remain with reduced Reach. In their article about clickbait in the News Feed FYI it says if a page stops posting clickbait articles their reach will stop being affected. I’m wondering if anyone else has dealt with reduced reach due to clickbait issues and how long it affected their links?

Has anyone seen this before? Where after posting something accidentally that Facebook considers clickbait the rest of their links after that post have lower reach than usual? Please help

Can you give any details on what you said that it considered clickbaity?

Do you mean you share a content link which you don't have in your website? I know what clickbait is but didn't get what you mean.

When people say "clickbait" I'm assuming it's stuff like:

"You won't believe this, click for more"
"Make loads of money with this one simple tip"
"Person did something amazing, here's why"
"This will shock you"

I've done titles similar to that to fit my genre, but always meant it as a parody. :(

No. A keyword that I shared in one of my links was considered clickbaity by Facebook and after posting that link on my page, every link has been getting lower reach than usual.
