Why is Facebook limiting my ability to comment in groups and other people's post? The account is aged and I don't use it

It seems like you've been using the account for likes and comments quite much. Regardless of the fact that an account is aged or not, if Facebook gets suspicious about your spam activity, they will limit your account or worse ban it.
It is therefore always recommended to follow the Mother/Child marketing method if you are marketing at all.

You must start slow with likes and comments. Increase the amount daily and soon you will not have limits

most of them are only limited when you have messaged too many different groups or the leader has locked you

You need to start slow and increase your postings gradually.
If you haven't used your account in a while and you suddenly start with a large amount of interactions, they'll block you for a while.

To prevent abuse of our features and to keep people safe from spam and harassment, They have limitations in place

Group admin can limit your activities if your content irrelevant and spammy.

This has happened to me before and it's usually due to spamming.
Don't comment on posts until the limitation period is over else it will last longer.

I think you can look for customer support to solve this problem!
