youlikehits is a good sharing website for free likes but it depends on what purpose you want to use those likes just for growing the fanpage or for marketing your product.

no idea of facebook fan pages like hits for free, but for twitter i had used twitter adder, its not an all free by da way still it works!

Black hat method- use a bot.
White hat method- create a like box on your site and if a lot of people view your site you'll get a decent number of likes.

I have heard of using a bot, may trap you as a spammer. any ideas to by pass this thing?

I think the OP may be talking about getting a +Like to your webage vs. fanpage. YouLikeHits is an easy way to get Likes on your Facebook page, but they don't support webpage likes.
If anyone knows of a solution for that, would be nice to hear it.
