Has anyone considered making a group on facebook where everyone adds each other and likes each others articles for increasing social signals for content?

Won't it cause a footprint? Or, do you have anything in mind to avoid that?

Cloudnine189,

You have a novel idea here but it sort of defeats the purpose of being present in these spaces. Yes social signals help SEO but many businesses and professionals have goals of building a following and engaging with potential customers.

This poster seems to have tried something similar without much success,

how would one go about doing ones own fb likes, shares, plus ones and tweets without leaving a footprint

I think that there is no use in exchanging or developing likes by themselves, the intention of using social media is to reach the targeted audience. and obviously these footprints can be easily tracked.. :juggle:
