Facebook launched a new service called as "Dating" in its annual developer conference. You can create a separate profile from Facebook and make romantic connections like Tinder. Any comments ?

Yes it will be like tinder, photos of potential dates will appear and you will have to rate them, thumbs up or down. Wait isnt that facemash? Several billion $ later and zuckerberg is back where he started.

I think there are inherit drawbacks to online dating as a whole. I mean, they could probably make something good with good features, but I don't believe it will end other dating apps. I rather they stop trying to seemingly monopolize the app world/internet and focus on better perfecting the balance between a intuitive/trusted social network and their advertisement monetization tactics (which have led to recent concern regarding personal user data.)

I honestly think it's a little ridiculous for facebook to do this at this point. Kinda seems like misdirection on some level.
 
I finally have a reason to stay longer on Facebook! Hahaha!

Because he will fuck about with his facemash v2 for a bit, scare the market, match is already down 22%, drive their price to almost $0 and then buy them.
