Fantastic method, wish I was in email marketing damn!

Wow..
Thanks for this great news.
I coded a system that extract that info and more. I will put it to profit soon on a BST. :)

If you are using Mailchimp, then you need to be accurate with the content and subject as it will block your account Instantly.
Please update if someone is getting success with it.

The question from me is sending emails to people who didn't subscribe to you, bought list, or in shorter term - SPAM. (sure, it's highly relevant by using targeted list, but it's still spam.) I'm wondering if nobody got into trouble from gov, lawsuits, etc? How do you play it safe?

As someone who hasn't really delved into Email Marketing (but plan to), has anybody tried to:

1) Scrape user IDs from a popular Facebook Fan page that has like over 1 million fans + also relates to one of your own existing Faceboook pages
2) Email them asking them to 'like' your page.

I guess there's limitations such as the Facebook reach and maybe even Facebook terminating your fan page, but could be worth a try to see how it goes.

Mailchimp lets you email 2K for free... maybe someone would possibly, perhaps, kind of think, kick around, set up a couple of dozen mail chimp accounts and email to 50K for free.

Just maybe though.

This is gold, thanks a lot, will try this now

Great share, but is there possibility someone sue you for spam?

Yeah you are right mailchimp wont allow you to do so easily.

But in your Running campaigns you can place an unsubscribe button so stay away from Lawsuits.

BTW Mandrill allows this do anyone have any success with it!!

Surely, this should make no difference? Spam is spam, regardless of whether you include an unsubscribe option. It's mailing them in the first place that's always the problem - not giving them the option to not be spammed twice! ;)

Would you like me to scrape a batch for you in facebook lead chef to see if something might be off?

I would appreciate it, just a random batch of people so I can check if our output looks the same.
I am using FB Lead chef aswell.
Could you add me on skype?
My skype: Vaaaaampirion

Thanks

I really hate skype unless I am yelling at Nigel for not skyping me back any more. PM me with what you want me to scrape.

Send them right to your website. "As someone who has liked one of the facebook pages we run, we would like to invite you to visit our website at ..." Then go to confession, because you lied.

method is dead. it stopped working... guys, the real money is SEO with myspace!!

Okay I have Interspire installed on a friend's vps.
Problem is that he is sending his business emails from there also, which are very important. He told me to use it as much as I want but I'm afraid I could put it in blacklists or something if I blast to much emails. Atm the vps is inboxing like mad. Last campaign that I sent was with 5k scraped emails. only 350~ were returned back to me because the emails either are deleted or some other reason. My open rate was 60% (considering my super nuub email marketing skillz) this is fantastic open rate.
Okay the question is - is this safe? (vps is registered on my pal's company - everything is legit there)
Can facebook sue us or something..? (I always put unsubscribe links as well as privacy policy and other information)
Also I will throw something legit like zazzle products or something like that (legit product not shit like fake coupons, cpa or other kind of shite)

Is it safe to blast 5k mails per day?

Listen up everyone. This is important. I know why it's working for some of you and not working for others. Some of the email providers are being blocked. Emails you send from an AOL email address are blocked. Gmail is not blocked. I tested with four different email addresses from AOL and none went through. Gmail went through in an instant. I will edit this post after I try a yahoo address.
EDITED: Yahoo is blocked for me. Mufasa HF said it works for him. Send a test email first and see if it works for you.
Send yourself a test email from all different email providers before you send out your mass email.
EDITED AGAIN: Email from my domain name's address is not blocked.
EDIT: Per t0mmy, hotmail is working fine. Thanks t0mmy!
EDIT: Mailchimp is blocked. Even when the "from" has a gmail address, it's still blocked.
EDIT: Look at my post on page 4 for a link to a free mass mailer that is open source.

Thanks for the info but I think gmail has max send limit - 300 per day? Also I will brake my keyword to compose every single email. What if I want to send 5k? I will have to create bunch of accounts and switch
everytime?

Sorry for the silly question. Hope I got an answer for my previous post, otherwise im rushing with my firend's company vps :D
