If you don't have pixels, it will be difficult for the first time pixels to learn. However, after spending a lot, the purchases will come and very cheap
 
facebook needs a lot of optimization to deliver the best results. And if you're crying so much about $50 then PPC is not for you because it's a rich men's game anyway. You need to waste a few 100s before you start getting results consistently, and even that after you have properly optimized your campaign first.

Also, I don't think that saying "fck you fb" on a random forum will do anyone any good... or bad :)
 
I agree that Facebook sucks, but not for ads. It sucks as a "normal/standard" user. If you're in marketing ,you can get some insane ROI. If you don't, you're doing something wrong. Flex targeting is f-ing epic, especially with a niche product.

EDIT: $50 spend and you give up? Good luck with IM dude.
 
$50 is like a penny for what you are looking for.
You have to do it perfectly well to be able to get what you want.
It ain't that easy, if it is everyone would do it, simple as that.
The more you fail and the more you continue battling your way up, the more you'll be successful.

really, facebook is trash...but without a pixel, you can't complain, you will hardly get results if you don't create a pixel

Dude, if your spending money on boosting posts and like campaigns, it isnt going to get you much, those are just vanity campaigns.
And if thats what you want to do, at least have a pixel on the landing page or site your sending the traffic to.

If you want to gear your campaign towards getting sales, start a conversion / purchase campaign.

And like others have said, there are definately more posts on here about how to test multiple adsets, kill the ones that arent working, and scale the ones that are getting you results....

yeah, and for $50 you are lucky to get even a sign up if your going in blind.

change up your goal. Sell a product instead of building an email list or offer a freebie in return for email. there is facebook method somewhere, but can't find thread, where you offer a "free" product and buyer pays shipping. keep testing. I see products in demand or current can sell well. Also allow ads to have DM feature so you can personally talk with a lead and you have at least some of their profile information if it allows or throw in ad "DM me." edit: also yeah you still got plenty of great traffic.
 
Sorry but $50 not even enough for poor man split testing.

Unfortunately there no straight sales unless your using spy software to find the keywords that make money.

I did post a freeway on FB spying .
