facebook is slower then ever. i remember 2012...was so fast back then. and now,everything is slower 300%. i have 45mbit/s connection. everything is slow,including page messages inbox mostly...i think this stupid piece of crap can't even utilize your connection fully.

You're not alone in this one lol. I've literally had multiple conversations over the last couple of years specifically about it. Unfortunately whoever is involved on web development over there is missing something, regardless of their money and their massive employee base, pure mobile direction even their new web design is basically that look and feel. I'd say they made a conscious choice to focus so little on an actual website that they've actually half given up on it. Which makes sense, everyone is for some reason mobile based now lol, not me though.
 
it's weird thing that facebook lite application for mobile devices is working fast.
 
That's basically where all their focus is, they expect the mass majority of people to be users coming from mobile apps. And the 1% of users in their mind still using the website through browsers will suck it up and use it for what it is and leave lol.
 
I logged on to facebook for the first time in about 7 years since joining this forum and my first thought was: "Wow this shit hasn't changed"
 
The last time I used Facebook, it did feel quite slow. I ended up deleting my Facebook account a while back, so it doesn't matter to me now, although I can imagine those of you still using it for marketing purposes are finding it a pain.
 
Must be all the people logging in because they're cooped up at home due to the coronavirus.

Oh well, FB sucks anyways.
