facebook is definitely making everything private, here’s what i noticed!

has anyone else noticed fb is making everything super private lately? they took away the “post” button when you search for something, story viewers first disappeared after 14 days, now 30 days, everyone’s friends lists are suddenly private (and no, not everyone manually did that), you can’t see who shared a post anymore and when i search for something or a person, the results are completely irrelevant. example: i’ll search for one of my friends and it shows someone else with the same name with limited results. it feels like they’re slowly locking down everything we can see on there. has anyone noticed anything that i haven’t named here?

As far as I know, Facebook has changed its algorithm to push feed. They will push content you have recently interacted with or viral content. That means people who are less active will almost disappear from your feed

I've been having some similar issues lately. Facebook is testing new privacy options and user interface updates that could affect things like the visibility of stories, your friends list, or how search results are displayed.

i notice something too with tiktok too,
videos are doing well. you know facebook isnt a video home and the market is shifting from post to vedio. i have a bot that comment by searching certain keywords and comenting on the most revelent post on facebook. sometime it didnt do the needful like it will collect vidoe urls in steady of post url even when the post url is toggled. the log is just pushing video up more.
the search function is still ok nothing changes but some time the filter get mixed if you should search for a keyword like money. this will only focus more on group rather than reel or stories. except you filter it, i think for the name to you need to filter it. for the share i really see wierd thing which i didnt even pay attention but generally facebook favor reel more in seach.
