I saw this message just now in my profile:

Introducing face recognition for more features
Hi, xxxxxx. We're always working to make Facebook better, so we're adding more ways to use face recognition apart from just suggesting tags. For example, face recognition technology can do things such as:

• Find photos you're in but haven't been tagged in
• Help protect you against strangers who use your photo
• Tell people with visual impairments who's in your photo or video

You control face recognition. This setting is on, but you can turn it off at any time, which applies to features we may add later.

And the face recognition settings are already enabled by default.

Marketers can use photos from other social networking websites. Do not know what will happen to past profiles created with photos from other Facebook users.

I know that they implement new features in batches. I saw it today.

I saw from some website claim it can be disable this feature .

Of course, you can disable this feature in account settings.

if you have your profile picture just use it. after the 4 days it will be enabled again.

I am interested if by any chance there is an option to make a little changes on the faces via aritificial intelligence on phyton code. That can make them look like another person for facebook but without making faces oaf or ugly. What a bright idea i just made?!

the other feature is if you are logout from your facebook and want to login then you can just click on your profile picutre and you will be login in, you don't need to put your mail and password everytime.

Ja true i also saw the feature to login facebook using your Gmail account via android device dont know if this is new

I think that's the end for Fake IDs in Facebook. Glad they did that. Definitely helpful to the users.
