:D:):cool::( Facebook is testing new like buttons, which it will introduce to users in Spain & Ireland.

Basically Facebook is offering the option of expressing your emotions, and going beyond a plain like. This feature is named as 'Reactions' allowing users to express their reaction to a post/page. This move has come in response to the much requested 'Dislike' button feature.

Facebook had maintained that a simple 'Dislike' button will create poisonous atmosphere and can be misused. So as to get around this hurdle, they have introduced emoticons. Which users can use to express their opinion about a post/page.

Currently 6 emotiocons are being offered. Heart, Amused, Happy, Astonished, Sad, Angry. Angry emoticon is what users can use to express their dislike for a page/post.

Its certainly going to make things interesting, especially for page owners. Like it or dislike it?

Nice idea, I hope so it soon will be published internationally. Pages will gain some quality.

Good one, Facebook is getting a little bit creppy but useful for us.

i'm waiting for them to add a "middle finger" reaction button.

THe question is how will this affect our marketing efforts? Can we make some good use of it or not...
