Facebook interests

When a person is targeted for a specific interest, what is the timeframe FB takes for that interest to still be valid? Like if someone showed interest a year ago, and after that not anymore, that'd be less interested than someone who showed interest last week. Are people that were interested a year ago still 'listed' as interested?

in my experience they update these quite regularly...probably for their own sake not for us, although you will need to do a lot of patient testing to get the most out of your audience

For sure you should split test till eternity haha.

How have you noticed Fb updating them though?

We work with lots of similar...not different campaigns so you notice these changes.

They update regularly, to be honest it all depends on the user in which specific interest you are targeting. If they engage with certain aspects of the interest, daily, hourly etc but FB's Ai is the best. In the end im sure its hard to tell what the frequency is. Hope that helps...
