Community Standards

Payment Terms
Every individual and organization that engages in financial transactions on Facebook must comply with Facebook's Payment Terms or may lose their eligibility to use our monetization features. These terms dictate the correct process for making payments, payment methods, customer complaints, actions we may take if our terms are violated and disputes and reversals.
Page Terms
Facebook's page terms dictate what rules page owners must follow when using our products. The terms apply to all creators and administrators of Pages, Groups and Events on Facebook. You are responsible for ensuring that your Page, Group, or Event complies with all applicable laws, statutes, and regulations.
Creators publishing content from a Page must comply with our terms, or may lose their eligibility to use our monetization features.
Content Monetization Policies
While all content on Facebook must comply with our
Terms and
Community Standardsnot everything posted on Facebook is appropriate for monetization.
In addition to complying with our terms and standards the content itself must follow specific guidelines in order to be eligible for certain monetization products.
Some of the most common prohibited content types:
- Engagement Bait: Content that incentivizes people to click a link or respond to a post through likes, comments or shares.
- Debated social issues: Content may be subject to reduced or disabled monetization if it depicts or discusses the following subjects in a polarizing or inflammatory manner:
- Tragedy or conflict: Content may face reduced or disabled monetization if it displays or discusses events that result in suffering, destruction or distress. Depictions or discussions of these subjects, either real or fictional, may affect monetization for your content:

Copyright and Intellectual Property Claims
The Facebook
Terms of Servicedoes not allow posting content that violates someone else’s intellectual property rights, including copyright and trademark infringements. You should only post content you have the rights to post.
Rights owners can report content violations through our intellectual property reporting form. We will remove the content and send you a notification that includes the name and email of the rights owner who made the report and/or the details of the report. If you believe the content was incorrectly reported or removed, you can follow up with the rights owner directly to try and resolve the issue.
If you repeatedly post content that infringes someone else’s intellectual property rights, your account may lose access to monetization features and may also be disabled under Facebook’s repeat infringer policy. Your ability to post photos or videos may be limited, and you could also lose access to certain features or functionality on Facebook. The actions taken under the policy will depend on the nature of the reported contents and where it was posted.
