Hello everyone

I purchased an expired domain couple years ago.

I’ve built a website on it a year ago.

The website is now ranking on #1 page of Google thanks to BHW.

All this time I never tried social media marketing. Marketing such as sharing posts on Facebook or Link Bio on Instagram and etc..

Recently I decided to give it a try and I encounter an error saying.

“Link Not Allowed”

I believe my link was banned from social media before I purchased the domain.

My current site does not violate any rules and it has an adsense ads on it.

Does anybody know how I can remove this ban from my URL?

I really need to advertise from Facebook. If there is a such service or anyone who knows how to lift the ban, I would be really interested.

Thank you

Hi, I have ever experienced this and I know how it feels.

I have gone through different options to contact Facebook, but the best option IMO would be contacting their Ad Support. Either through this
https://www.messenger.com/t/facebookadsupport

Or through your ad manager.

Simply said, using common method to contact FB will mixed you with tons of people trying to ask the same. But Facebook ads is different
Hope it helps

Thank you so much, I will give it a try.

Same situation as OP, just tried contact Ads Support, let's see if they reply accordingly

Buy another Domain and link to the main domain;-)

So I should just register a domain that I can share on social media and link that domain to my main homepage?

What if I want to share an article from the main page? How can I forward the domain to multiple pages? Is that even possible?

Yes it is possible. If your url is google.com/my-article-page, you will share on Facebook, bing.com/my-article-page, and with a few .htaccess rules, you just replace the domain name and redirect it.

Thank you I will check it out

Has anyone successfully gotten their url unblocked?

Do you think a company like Facebook, will remove a ban for your domain? Learn and move on.
What? Half of the domains they ban are not even spammy or have gone against the community guidelines. You need to go see their support center.

I think they should have a system where you can send your website/domain for spam check.
It really sucks for the new owner of the domain who is trying to create an authority site.
