Does anyone have experience running FB/IG ads for auto insurance? My ads are automatically being denied. Tried reels, posts, stories, not sure what I'm doing wrong. Also using an aged real payment account that I use for other ads so that's not the issue. Is it possibly my IG is too new?

Could be the combo of new IG and sensitive niche like insurance. Try warming up the IG with organic posts first, and double check if your ad copy triggers any restricted terms. Sometimes even small phrasing can get it flagged.

Yeah, could be the new IG. Try posting some content first, then run a small engagement ad to warm it up before launching the main campaign.but what i do to mine is after creating an IG just leave it for few days and then post on it

Facebook has become more strict about sales content, so you should try to avoid in-depth content when posting ads, instead keeping it light-hearted but still letting customers know you’re selling insurance.

Make sure your landing page is compliant, avoid misleading claims, and verify your business in Meta's Business Manager. New IG accounts can also subject you to increased scrutiny.

If everything looks good, but your ad still isn't approved, create a new ad campaign from scratch with minor changes to your messaging and use Facebook's tools to optimize your campaign.

Is your IG account completely fresh? How many posts/stories did you add before launching the ads? Sometimes just warming it up for a few days + avoiding sensitive keywords does the trick.

Lately, I see a lot of people using reels with redrawn images and multiple overlapping graphics to avoid FB scans instead of using screenshots and live action videos. You can try it out

Yes, a brand-new IG account can trigger rejections, especially in sensitive niches like insurance.
Try warming up the IG profile first and rotate creatives with soft, compliant messaging to avoid instant flags.

Insurance is a sensitive niche, so even aged accounts can get flagged if the creatives or funnel aren't 100% compliant. Also, a brand new IG account can definitely raise trust issues. Try warming up the profile or switching to a more trusted one.

oh i'm not sure what product you are referring to, auto insurance? do you mean BH product? have you used cloaking, give it a try because it is quite useful for this type of product.

its considered black hat so you need cloaking.

Make sure your ad content complies with Facebook's advertising policies. Insurance-related ads are often heavily moderated. Avoid using vague language or making unrealistic promises about benefits. Make sure your message is clear and honest. Use high-quality images and don't include too much text. Facebook recommends less than 20% text in images.

To run auto insurance ads, you must select “Special Ad Category”, use neutral content, avoid over-commitment, and use a reputable FB page instead of a newly created IG.

yo brooo !
If your funnel’s clean and payment method is solid, I’d bet the new IG is playing a big role here.
Insurance is a restricted vertical and FB’s filters are tight. Fresh IG accounts with no trust signals will almost always get flagged when paired with sensitive content.

Have you tried linking the ad to a more aged FB page instead and running the ad from there, without involving IG at all?
Also curious. are you using any LP or just lead forms? becuase those tend to pass easier if you’re getting blocked at the page level.

Insurance is a sensitive product and is strictly controlled by Facebook's policies. Sometimes, your account is locked immediately without leaving any trace or reason. However, if you hide it cleverly, your account can still exist and reach customers such as: using tactful language, avoiding commitment language, prohibited words.

Auto insurance is definitely a sensitive niche - even with aged payment methods, Meta can still flag based on ad copy, domain history, or IG trust score. A new IG can be part of the issue, especially if there’s low activity or mismatched geo. Try warming it up first with organic content and interactions.

Auto insurance is a super sensitive niche on FB/IG — they flag it fast if wording isn’t perfect. Might not be the IG account age but the landing page or phrasing like “save money” or “get insured fast.” Try softening the copy and avoid making guarantees.

Auto insurance is a restricted category on Meta, so your ads need to comply with their special category rules and often require pre-approval or licensing proof. If your IG account is new, that can add to trust issues, but the main reason for denial is likely policy restrictions, not account age.
