and to put "fb" in your domain instead of facebook sounds stupid

can i add one more question to your post?

if i own a domain with facebook key into, works for this keywords, face, book and facebook???

sorry for the dumb question

face would be okay? this would work

I think that in long-run you will not be able to use face or book, it is in process of branding by facebook

I hope you are joking...anyone can use the word face or book in anything they want to. Facebook can't take away a domain if you have the word face in it.

Haha. Yea you can use on or the other, but not actually spell the word out. "Bookoffaces" :)

they can take you to court for anything... will they win is the question you are trying to ask =]

simple. dont use trademarks in your domain names. The company can either take it from you, or sue you. My brother got sued by microsoft for $50k/domain name that he was using one of their product names in... he had over 1,000 domains. Needless to say, he lost all the domains and a large amount of money. (lucky for him, he had already made much more than what he had to pay off of the domains.)
