What methods can I use to find niche related groups/groups lists?

Uhm.. Type your niche in the search bar of fb and select the groups you want to join maybe?

If youre targeting a local niche for politics, type the name of a popular politician in the search bar. For sure there will be lots of results.

You don't do anything wrong. 1 maybe not as popular as you thought as there are plenty of political pages.

2 maybe your country has put limitations to fb.

I actually found a better way:
Google advanced search. There you can specify exactly what results you want.
This way I can scrape about 20 public groups for a specific KW for about 10 mins, its really helpfull.
Also the Discover facebook tool is pretty usefull too.
