I've heard that after your group reaches 5k people you wont be able to send out message to every group member, is that true?

Also, does it work the same for events?
Or you can invite people there without any restrictions on a size if the group?

Yes that is true, once you hit 5K fans, they take the ability of mass messaging away! As for events, Im not too sure..

Same apply for events. Avobe 5K on the group no "Invite all Group Members" button anymore. But do not complain it used to be harder on 2008 and 2009 when only up to 1200 members for invite all groups members to event button.... make several groups is not so hard.
