Facebook Groups Search

Hi guys
I looking for a tool or a way to search on facebook groups - but with filters or something like that
for example: if i look the name "dog", how can i find groups from the largest to the smallest
and can i look for specific country etc...?

Is ther is a way to search more easily for groups ? a tool maybe ?

the numbers of members can parsed from the html ...

No way you can search the groups by country. Group members could be from many different countries. You'll know the traffic distribution by country once you have enough clicks.

I was looking into it and I don't think it's possible, not without an API from Facebook of some kind. At least for what I wanted, which was to be able to find groups by size and activity. To find them by size can be done but activity can't be gaged since you have to join most groups to see their content.

I am a software programmer, so I made a little tool 6 months before. It does exactly what you said.

It searchs groups by keyword(subject, target, whatever). After searching, it crawls and stores the group info like: Group id, name, number members....

If you want to search group by country, there has no way to do with current facebook feature. But, I have my own trick.

I can search, classify, store... much more than 5000 groups in 30 mins. Not bad, right?

But I don't know what to do with these groups. What to do to make money from them. If anyone have any idea, let's talk. Maybe we can find out one good method to make something beautiful.

Here is a pic for you. In generally, you can see that I got 11k+ groups with 89 mil members. This is just a little data, and I can get much more than that.

hi, I made it for myself. but feel free to contact me to get a free try. This is not a completed tool, because I am a programmer, so I just made it enough for me to use. It's not easy to use with a non-programmer. But with a little trying and explaining, everyone can play with it.

Actually there is a software i think it's called facebook leadchef some people say it doesnt works anymore but for me it works fine the user id scraping doesnt works tho but it has a search you type your keyword and it shows you groups/pages related to that keyword numebr of fans/members and number of active fans/members i hope it helps you
