Facebook Groups: How to MONETIZE with this new feature

We need to kick into high gear if we want to cash on this new feature that Facebook rolled out. I think if we, ask blackhatters, look at this from a new way to market then we should all stand to benefit.

A brainstorm session is in order. How do YOU see yourself benefitting from the new Facebook Groups?

Me? I'm personally making a group of people and businesses strictly from out of my own backyard. I live in a small town so I am making an exclusive group of hometown only profiles. I think it will come in handy if, and when I want to host an actual face to face social meet up.

Make a fake profile, add some 5000 friends from a targeted country/region. Start a group and join them all to it. Promote group heavily in other groups and fan pages. Post aff links in group updates etc etc

does that mean with a new group even if some1 hasnt joined they still get the mailout?

Each group member will get a mail blast, but I think you have to friend a profile before you can add them. Pretty certain of that.

Do what Weirdo420 suggested then:

Great some functional branded widgets to post in other areas
-highly traffic blogs
-social sites [if the widgets are allowed]

etc...

No once you send out an invite for a page/group the other person has to accept or ignore it, if they accept it great you can send them status updates and mails but if they ignore - you get the picture.

can u mail blast them if there are over 5k members?
