Any way to get fans from a fanpage that you own over to a group? Other than making a post on the fan page . Can they be linked?

I think you can't transfer people like that. At best, you can add them to the group manually.

No. The best you can do is make the group secret and offer them a bait to join the group.

I actually recall a notification on one of the groups that I run.... that I was allowed to merge it over. Let me see about a screenshot real quick.

Yes there is a way, I literally was just able to do it somehow with a page I own. What it does is it actually add's a "groups" tab into your page which allows you to either.

A.) Create a new group
B.) Link an old group as so.


STEP 1: Go to settings -> Edit Page


STEP 2: Go to Tabs part and scroll down where you see Groups. Click show groups tab.


STEP 3: Go back to your page and click on the groups tab that you have now created. You can either create a new one or link over.
