Which one is more profitable in your opinion and why? Based on my own dabbling, it seems as though the success of pages is defined by the quantity of likes or follows that page can get. I feel as though pages aren't as powerful in the larva stages, while a small facebook group can guarantee a more stable amount of exposure to whatever content I'm trying to peddle. That said, Pages are personally content driven, whereas groups can flourish and filler content is generated by the users themselves. Your particular niche of course plays a large role in which is better, and the potential that an idea can achieve.. I'm just looking for some outside perspective to boost my own understanding of what is good for what situation.
I really would like to try to develop a page and slowly build an authentic audience, but my meticulous habits would force me to personally develop custom banners, profile pictures *future profile pictures*, and various amounts of content several weeks in advance so that all I would have to adhere to is a daily upload schedule *I feel that atleast once daily content of social media is the best way to build a base and maintain your product awareness*.
At the same time, I have a singular ideal that I'm sure will be huge, and it involves Facebook groups, and according to my research, it's completely under-capitalized. It's one of those, seeing a need before it becomes a need sort of thing.
I entirely intend to do both, but I'm going to start with the groups as the window is relatively small. Just curious, have you had any of these opportunities, how did it go, and semi-unrelated.. To you prefer to work pages or groups of do you simply maintain a diversified portfolio? Thanks for your time.
