It's sad that the 2 most used features in FB now is groups and marketplace. But the company doesn't support growing either.

They just deprecated the FB groups api :(

I find that you can search on Google for such application tools or add a third party so I often do not use it because it easily leads to account locking and losing my account. I usually follow a safe way which is to open it manually and diligently share with each other.
 
You should use multiple Facebook profiles to post group links and grow your group by building organic engagement. You can use ads to attract more people.
 
You can build a good Fanpage then take advantage of traffic to build a group, it will be much more sustainable.
