That is a crazy price, for that money I would have just done my own and marketed it to fuck....
Also the article touches on an extremely valid point that these apps are often prone to a flabour of the month mentality...although it has 450 million users, which is on it's side, it is a very simple app. I think it's replaceable.

WhatsApp's CEO said that if they would compromise on anything when selling WhatsApp to Facebook, WhatsApp would lose its meaning.
So I don't think that anything will change for a while. Only the owner.
I still have my doubts about it for maybe 2-3 years from now.
Maybe it's a good time to build an alternative app and call it Avoid Facebook.

Oh geez this is one of those reasons where I specifically abandoned facebook for whatsapp to get away from facebook, facebook is just a plague IMO, everything it touches goes to complete shit, next thing you know it you will have to pay for people to see your posts.
