Facebook GOING CRAZY!!! Read this..!

That Osama ID is missing the birthday. Remember, they need that. ;)

On a side note, when are they asking for this? I just accessed 2 of my accounts that I pretty much never use, and neither asked for an ID. I haven't logged into these accounts in weeks. Is there a reason for those of you were asked? Or is it random?

I'm gonna go along with MMAComments, and say it's probably phishing. FB should know they might lose ppl because of this, so it might not be legit.

Edit: Sorry, just saw trustedfire9's post. Is that the only time they ask?

If they are going to treat their clients like this then we as marketers should boycott using Facebook for marketing purposes. They can have as many Facebook users as they want but if no one is willing to pay to advertise on their site then they have no revenue. Just a hopeless dream though because obviously all of the major corporations have special perks with Facebook and will never stop feeding them money.

I had the same problem i didn't provided them any id card they deleted my account after 30 days

time to leave
let's go to pinterest and any other new comers.

They only implemented this for BHW members :P

I highly doubt they will do this for everyone. More like people who have suspicious activity on their accounts.

Did you use this one... hahhaha

hehe nice piece of shit for zuckerberg :p he'll gonna enjoy that and if u get caught then he's gonna fu*k you till death..
but howcome only you guyz are getting this, they haven't ask me for anything like this proof or something...till now!!

Have you guys tried using a FB account creator without using any proxy?

This is not a joke. A mom of a friend of mine had her account hacked, they found out, blocked it. She had to send her ID for it to be opened again.

We at BHW tend to look at FB as a spam/money genearting tool. For MOST other people, it really represents who they are, they communicate maybe with more people on there than in real life [face 2 face]. So to me, I c this move as protecting ones identity, be it real life or online. C, if I hack your profile, I can end friendships, jobs, marriages etc. nowadays through FB.

Although FB can be a great tool to keep in touch with your contacts, I consider it a Social Cancer (I?ve seen marriages and friendships destroyed and people staying at home for months in a row, spending the whole day in FB), nevertheless it surely is a great tool for IM and Promotion.

I also see this as a phishing attempt, a social reverse engineering scheme to find out your passwords (lots of people use their birthdate, ID numbers, etc? as their passwords).

Naah the website is a legit FB website. I thought my moms friend was being redirected to someone, who wanted her info. Never heard of it before, so I did my research.

I mean come on, 99% of people share so much with FB already. Think of all the stuff they say in PMs. Personal shit u put on FB. Any smart person can figure out where 90% of people live. Burglars actually use FB nowadays to stake out places:

"The whole fam is going on Vacation for 3 days. Yay!" > Sent from City, State > Look at "Sportstracker app" > have 3 days to steal everything lol

A kid went to jail in the UK for posting something hateful on Twitter. So FB wanting to c that u are actually accessing YOUR account when they sense somethig fishy seems legit to me.

While it might be a social cancer of some sort, I can see this going further. I can see the online world being policed a lot more, I can see Governments pushing for using your own identities online etc...

That's the reason why I only use FB to promote my business...
