Facebook giving me fake clicks?

I'm advertising with fb ads and prosper202 is only showing me 36 real clicks, where as facebook shows I've received 177 clicks. Is anyone else advertising with fb and seeing something similar? How the heck does anyone get a positive roi when they're just giving you fake clicks? :confused:

Something is wrong with your analytics or they are making you fool.
 
Well, I've concluded that they were fake clicks, they werent being recorded in prosper because java script wasn't enabled on the bots. Never touching them again
 
Yes, already somebody posted a report where like 80% of clicks via FB might be fake
 
Then make a campaing for CPM not CPC. I`m running for CPM for offline bussines.
 
Yeah I was reading about this a few months back. Friend of mine got all his Adwords funding for one month sucked away in one day because Google said somebody clicked on this ads, whereas his analytics (not google) said different!
 
i have noticed the same thing. running some fb ads and get lots of click, only paying 1-3 cents for the clicks and all the users have like 1K-15K fan page likes on their profile, these must be bots.
i think facebook is using some third party networks to outsource those clicks to generate money :D

Facebook ads are a waste of money. I spent over $4,000 driving traffic to get likes on a fan page and only got around 4-500 new fans. $10 a fan is DEF NOT WORTH IT.
 
There are always difference between real clicks and facebook's count, but usually its around %5-10.
 
I've always wondered if this is a sign of the amount of bots that scrape through Facebook, indiscriminately following links.
 
I spent close to $8,000 on FB ads in 2009 and realized then that FB ads sucked. I was running an adwords campaign at the same time to an ecommerce site and the adwords clicks were 10 times better. I've tried 3 different campaigns with FB and all of them had miserable results. I personally didn't notice a huge discrepancy between clicks not registering, just your normal 10%ish, but that was 2009.
 
yes right , we can get many Fake click By Facebook?i don't know what's the solution of this?
