Around 2 months ago, my traffic slowing dropped over the week. I lost around 75% - A few days ago, the domain was blocked for being against community standards (all pages)... Pressed the not spam button on the news feed and surprisingly, it was reviewed and cleared within a few minutes (message saying they've reviewed it, and it's not against community standards). Now, traffic has not only returned to normal but it's almost 50% higher than it was before and climbing.
This is a viral type of quiz site btw. Each "quiz" was on it's own subdomain - So, it looks like facebook is also treating subdomains differently than before (at least in my experience)- so if one gets ghosted, all other subdomains do too.
So, instead of banning domains outright (which they were doing before, most of the times by mistake IMO) - are they just ghosting the domains from the news feed, but allowing them to be visible from user profile pages?
Facebook also seems to be looking at "footprints" of sites themselves. So if one gets banned, anything that matches (exact or similar) also gets banned? Two very similar sites, both hosted on different servers with very little traffic were also blocked within minutes of my main. This is gonna suck since people just copy landing pages and spam the shit out of groups and all that :\
