If their profile is not public then you will never know their friends, or whether you are friends with the other person.
 
I completely agree with everyone's comments above. If they're public, you can see your friends list, if they're hidden, there's no way, man.

Can only check if your friends are not hidden. If they are hidden there is no way to check
 
no way, unless you tell them to unhide it....
 
as I know, this is not feasible if their list is hidden
 
If the user hides his friends list, we cannot see his friends list unless we are friends with them.
 
If they leave it hidden, there is no way to see the list. The simplest way is to ask the person if they want to share their friends list with you.
 
According to my experience, there is no way, but if there is, I would really like to hear everyone's opinions.
 
checking posts where they tag friends, and with friends of friends you might find somenthing but most of the people now have that restricted.
 
There is no way to see once they have hidden it.
 
This is a personal right of each person. Facebook protects personal privacy. Unfortunately, it is not possible.
