Facebook Fan Pages or MySpace Bulletins - Which is better?

I have folks on MySpace with 50,000 friends sent a bulletin out and hundreds of people would go to where ever they asked. I have not heard the same with fan pages. Usually you need several hundred very tight folks that you could send to get the same effect.

Anyone want to chime in?

facebook fan pages r better..as the whole world is on facebook

Myspace was much better. You used to be able to send a ton of traffic with a bulletin. But that ship sailed.
