Facebook Fan Page...How to promote

I have a new website that gets good traffic and i set up a fan page on Facebook for it. But i cant get followers, i only have 3 after a month..LOL...
As i am new to this type of social network marketing what is the best way to get targeted traffic, its a broad niche, UK only.
I use Twitterfeed so that when i do a new post it puts it on my Facebook and Twitter also.
What are the best ways to promote the page, i have joined other fan pages in a similar niche but this hasnt helped.
