Facebook Event Invite PROBLEM. Help!

I have a Facebook profile with around 4500 friends. When I attempt to "select guests to invite" it says my friend list is loading and then simply goes away.

Has anyone had this problem recently? Is FB cracking down on the number of invites it actually lets you send? (I have sent invites to several events lately)

Can anyone tell me what may be happening?

Seems like they removed that function along with the "suggest to friends" link. Only an Admin of the page can see the link and then when you try, it does not work. My guess is that they are doing an update, at least I hope!

So when looking at the code... after 30 seconds there is a 500 Server error.

This seems to be the case with any box that pops up and takes more than 30 seconds to load.

Is this just facebook trying to keep server traffic down?

Any explanations for why this is happening?

i think we need to wait till the official word is out but i think it will be back to normal

They have been making a lot of changes lately. Announced that the impressions problem was a bug yesterday.

So, as many of you know... Facebook is no longer timing out pages that take longer than 30 seconds to load... which is what my original issue was.

HOWEVER, Now I believe Facebook has found a way enforce its rule of only allowing 49 invites at a time.

Is there any way to confirm that this is whats happening? Or is it temporary? Any workarounds?

Im really using it for whitehat purposes to send my friends invites on local events.
