Facebook dying?

everyone is right on with their answers. Virality on facebook has really died out because most of it ends up being spam. Hence facebook has caught up with to the exploit so spam links don't go viral like it did in the past.

TRUE!!! Internet marketing has been changing and will be ever evolving. The smart marketers never rest on their laurels and are always proactive in their approach to SERPs, sales, backlinking, conversions and BH tactics.

Yes it's A LOT harder to make money from FB now as it was.. but still you can make some good salary :)

Well that's what I find the most boring and annoying. The fact that I constantly need to learn new stuff as I go, to last it in this business.

Few years ago I had a break from IM that lasted almost 1 year. When I returned, everything was alien!
 
No everything is not dying it changes according to the time. In past years these things were so easy and simple but as the time passes, competition increases and all things changes accordingly and become tougher.
 
Facebook is not gaining users as fast anymore, but it is a long way from dead. But exploits only work so long b4 folks wise up!

Thats because most users are already on facebook with a few accounts lol.

Facebook still has potential you just need to think of new methods to get it.
 
FB isn't dying. Old SEO exploits and schemes just need modified. If you don't modify it, it's dead.

There are a lot of good things going on with FB :)
 
facebook is tough now
i myself doing $500-$600 per day with facebook
i have constantly innovated
Its just that you need constant traffic like lots of fanpages or lots of fb accounts to keep
pushing the traffic
whenever a website link is posted on facebook and when someone clicks, it shows you have clicked an spammy link please go back
so you have to use you mind and try to get people out of facebook without making things spammy

there is new update on facebook every 10 days which is making tough for marketers
 
I've been experimenting with Tumblr.... actually liking the results ;)
 
I think the most important thing to take from this thread is what m3ownz said. "Anything based on exploits eventually dies." If what you are doing isn't creating any genuine value, then it is eventually going to lose effectiveness, as people realize where they are losing money. Now some would say this is the thrill of being a blackhatter, the constant need to innovate and stay one step ahead... if that thrills you, go ahead, this is BHW after all!

My guess is that most of you are here because you want to have a reliable stream of income so that you can quit your job, be your own boss, make your own hours etc. etc. If that is the case, then i would recommend learning something of value that will always be of value! The best one I can think of: marketing. Get other people to buy and you will never go hungry! Sugarman's book "Triggers" is, imho, one of the best books out there on the subject. Perhaps the best, but idk, because I haven't read them all!
