Facebook Destroys Competition: Blocking the Largest Job Groups in Germany

On October 16, Facebook blocked the group "Jobs in Germany," which brought together 380,000 members. The founder of the community, Irina Gorokhovska, was unable to obtain a clear explanation from customer support. The only message she received stated, "There are no fraudulent job postings in your group, but the algorithms sometimes make mistakes."

Currently, three more groups managed by Irina are at risk of being blocked. The first of these is "Jobs in Germany 2024," which has 285,000 subscribers and has already received a warning and restrictions from Facebook, despite strict moderation and full compliance of all job postings with the platform's rules. The second group, "Jobs in Germany for Ukrainians," has 181,000 subscribers. This group was marked for no apparent reason and received a red warning that limits its visibility. Another warning could lead to its removal. The fourth group, "Jobs in Germany 2024," with 96,000 subscribers, has also received a warning.

After the removal of the first group, users migrated to these three, causing a sharp increase in activity. Facebook immediately began to impose strict restrictions on these communities as well. Irina suspects that the social network's algorithms are biased against large groups with high levels of activity. This is not the first case of blocking Ukrainian job communities, and all this occurs against the backdrop of active growth in group membership. Irina has always strictly moderated her groups: job postings were only published from verified employers with German contacts, and requests for payment for employment were categorically prohibited.

Have you tried contacting Meta support, and what did they say

Using BHW for parasite SEO or just copying posts from LinkedIn?

To address this issue, Irina and the admins may consider reaching out to Facebook's senior customer support, providing additional evidence of compliance with the platform's policies and requesting a more detailed review process to reduce the risk of future blocks

I think it's also because of Facebook's automated feature, it might be easier to appeal, good luck
