Facebook Custom Audience Update—Safe to use Emails?

So they now require you only use UIDs gleaned from your own ap, and they're enforcing it. However, there is an easy workaround in that you can upload emails. These would be Facebook emails, though.


Does anyone know if it's safe to use emails gleaned from FBLeadChef or similar? I would think that they don't really care, and that the update is for appearances.

Sounds like it could be a workaround, but then Facebook might be too smart for that.

I have been creating custom audiences with scraped emails for over a month and no issues yet. FB is getting paid so I don't see why they would care.

well fb isn't all bout getting paid, know that too well, lol.

The question is "how long will it works?". I think facebook knows very well, where you got your email-list with thousands of facebook email addresses. So don't use an account with facebook sites you also want to manage in the future, take a fake account
