I don't know if someone noticed but few hours ago all groups were converted to something that looks like pages. It didn't last long ( 10-15 minutes) but i guess it was some testing.
Actually, they looked exactly like pages without some (most important features ). Group images were turned to left, page alike wall replaced group wall, info tab replaced description. Admin could choose if members could post on wall or nor but they could commented and liked admin's wall post ( not pretty good for hit and run spammy groups though as people could warn others about what you are actually doing and they can not do it on actual groups if admin choose not to show anything but members and description )
Only thing that these new groups didn't have from page features were notes and I think that wall posts don't show on members home page. I am not sure for second as I was online with new account without friends but as I can remember it should show it regardless if I had friends or not.
What to say. If they change it for good and leave it as they were in those 10 minutes I am not sure if that would be good for us as old groups are better for hiding what we are doing but if they make more changes and convert groups to pages with wall posts showing on the home pages that would be awesome.
