In FB if you want to put ads, FB will ban you easily, if you are running CPS offers as they don?t allow. Cloaker will show different link to FB ad approval team and send traffic to your link.FB cloaking allows you to put ads without FB banning you.

In your facebook profile find a bunch of male fitness pages and like them. Spend some time, comment a little, etc...

then start looking at the ads in the right column...

You'll see lots of cloaking going on -- to dating, PEDs, etc. Some folks are even use amazon.com or similar as their display URL and then cloak to a different location.

In a nutshell,

driving traffic from PPC networks (mainly) to websites they wont allow. That is, you show the PPC bots & manual reviewers one legit website, and redirect real visitors to your money / affiliate / offer website.

As mrblackjack kindly explained just a few posts above, cloaker redirects traffic to different target sites depending on the viewer to avoid unwanted attention. This alows posting offers that otherwise wouldn't be permitted.
