You can log in to your account on another device on your computer or on another phone. You should check your account on that device to get the code. If not, confirm that you lost your password to update it.

I think you need to check your old device that you used to log in to this account to get the verification code or if your account has 2-step security enabled, get the verification code there.

Facebook is asking for verification. You just need to get another device that is logged into your account to confirm that it is you.

I think you should uninstall and reinstall the app on the old device, then login then allow everything... Then let me know if it works or not

Fb is asking you to verify the owner of the FB account you are logging in to. Usually it will be sent to the device with the most recent logins or to the most recently logged in device.

Facebook occasionally does this. I suggest trying to log in on a computer. Once logged in, see if there are any other options besides accepting on the old device. Alternatively, you can request a "forgot password" reset and use the phone number linked to your account to recover your password, then try logging in again.
