Facebook CDN Video hosting for movies

sorry for the clickbait but this is important for me to figure out guys I saw this website using FBCDN to host movies and series, yeah that's right, and come BHW to search if it already shared a method yes I found a thread followed also worked but the thing is whenever I try to get final HLS link from FBCDN it works but after some time it expires "URL signature expired." but the original site using the same method he keeps alive the link it almost 2 days and also that site getting 5m views. guess what he's banking harder on this FBCDN hosting method.

If you want to know when a link expires, just take the final parameter oe=61673BEF and first convert the value from HEX to DEC and then put it into unix time calculator, like this one: unixtimestamp.com and you'll get Wed Oct 13 2021 20:05:03 GMT+0000, meaning it should expire and stop working in about 6 hours from now. Without seeing the site, I can't check where the link generation/refreshing happens. Could be server-side or client-side. If it is server-side you won't be able to figure out how he makes those links no more than reversing FB itself.

After some thought, the most reasonable explanation is that he simply periodically refreshes the link, by requesting the document page from FB where the video plays and extracts the CDN link, lets say every few hours or once a day. This link is then served to his visitors inside the player on his site.

Eventually someone will report his site and FB will ban his fan pages and probably flag them next time he tries to reupload same content.

Unless you have no other options, I wouldn't bother, because this is playing in someone else sandbox, that is located inside someone else's sandbox. A sandobxception.

Unless hosting videos itself on FB CDN serves some sort of traffic acquisition purpose, which I doubt, it only saves hosting costs but the hard part is getting traffic to your money site. The server costs are trivial for any successful website. I know YouTube supposedly loses money, but that's because it doesn't monetize the users as hardcore as I am guessing this guy does. Probably spams them to death and they take it like champs because they are desperate for pirated content.

yes but the site is self using iframe embed code the same URL link I shared don't think he is doing server-side or client-side refreshing.

Send me a PM and I'll take a look, but as I said, you are probably not missing out on much unless perhaps you already have a successful movie streaming site and you want to cut your expenses

If the FB video is public, anyone can play it without logging in so he probably just requests a new resources link for every visitor.

It is a custom script that you'll run on your server, or a separate server if you are paranoid, which just periodically makes http request to the public FB video URLs of videos that you are hosting and returns back to you the resource URL, which you save in a database and then serve to your visitors. It is not a lot of work, but you'll need to know a bit about how internet and websites work. Or you can probably hire someone on freelancer or upwork or even BHW for $100-150 to modify your site, shouldn't cost you much more.

You can easily grab the lastest download url using their graph api. It does also allow doing uploade. Wink wink.
