Facebook captcha issue with personal account

Hey all,
I went abroad to the US and was able to login to my personal account fine and then a couple days into the vacation facebook froze my account and wanted me to complete a security check which was just a CAPTCHA.

Anyway everytime i fill out the CAPTCHA it says it is incorrect! No matter how many times I try it just says incorrect.

I tried doing the audio version as well.
I also tried different browsers, computers, mobile, I even had someone back home do it from their computer and still having the same issue!

So does anyone know why this is happening?

More then likely your account has been disabled as they want to be sure it's "you" who is attempting to log in to your account. You can resolve this at the following link:

Yeah that's what i thought but what i dont understand is they want to check it is me but the CAPTCHA does not work properly so it wont let me prove that it is me.

So does verifying my account turn off security captchas? Also how long does it take to verify? Is it quick or slow
