i am running facebook call ads but call costing is coming very high almost like 10 x , in facebook ads can we setup a max cap on call conversion

You can set a cost per result goal in your campaign which tells Meta to optimize toward that target cost. switch to cost cap bidding instead of lowest cost and set it around your target cost per call.
but this option is not coming up in my account

There's no direct "max cost per call" cap in Facebook Ads, but you can set a cost-per-result goal in the campaign settings bid strategy to keep Facebook from spending beyond your target per call.

but in not getting that option , please guide me how can i do that , is that option is not available in my region which is india

yeah use Cost Cap bidding, but check ur damn call attribution first bc 10x cost usually ain't a bidding problem, it's Meta countin fake/spam calls (call jacking, robocalls) as "conversions" n inflating yer numbers.

This would not work and performance wise, it would be a bad move. You need to adjust your settings in the campaign

I don't think you can set a max cost for calls directly, I had better results by testing different audiences and ad creatives instead.

You should try setting up a manual campaign to change the bids for your ads. Avoid setting up automatic ads as they are usually more expensive.

you need to fix the root issues first, such as tightening your audience targeting, scheduling ads to only run during business hours when people can actually answer, and testing fresh creatives to improve your click-to-call rate

You can set a average cost per call, and Meta will serve around that number. Some calls will cost more, some less, but it averages out near your target

You can set a maximum cost per call by enabling "Cost Cap" in the ad settings, while also optimizing your audience and ad creatives.

You can try using cost controls like cost per result goal, but Meta may not always deliver if the target is too low. I would also check audience size, placements, call quality and when the calls are coming. Sometimes narrowing the right audience helps more than just setting a cap.

A bid strategy/cost cap can be implemented if your objective and account qualify for that, but it doesn't guarantee that you will incur costs at a consistent rate. I would first see how the quality of the audience, ad placements, and call duration is before implementing the cost cap.

rather than enforcing a cap on the costs i would be much more inclined to identify where the additional costs are coming from nd cut those that r not performing well. In most instances improving the quality of leads nd feeding meta conversion information lowers the costs without even tryiing.

You can use the "Cost per Result Goal" (if your account supports it) to have Meta attempt to keep costs around your desired level (though this is not guaranteed).
