I know there are a lot of groups on Facebook the most important thing I'm looking for is some kind of engagement.

I'm not what the best questions to ask.

1. Start a page if you have the right outlook, and most importantly, if you have read Facebook's terms and conditions.
2. About reblogging, check first if your city would actually take a look at those blogs. If you are planning to use Facebook as your marketing platform, you would need more visual content than blogs.

At this point in Facebook, people don't care if your account is verified or not.
3. If you need engagement, join those groups as well. Be as active as you can be on those groups. This will give your name a good exposure.

I know there are a lot of groups on Facebook the most important thing I'm looking for is some kind of engagement.
Sure you must join the group that related to your interest
